Festival Homecoming Weekend
Festival Homecoming Weekend is always celebrated the first weekend in May and is known as the “The Biggest Little Fair in the Valley.” It is a time when the St. Francis de Sales Community along with the neighboring communities come together for a fun-filled weekend. There is great live entertainment, a pyrotechnics show on Friday and Saturday nights, a variety of delicious foods, games and rides. Also available is an incredible Silent Auction with hundreds of items available to the highest bidders.
The Festival proceeds go directly to Saint Francis de Sales School to enhance the educational programs and cover costs that are not covered by tuition. We welcome all visitors, any volunteers and donations.

Each Family is required to donate to the SFDS Festival Silent Auction. You are required to provide a minimum of 1 or 2 items per family plus an item toward Class Experience per student. 3 hour minimum.
These donations will only count toward Silent Auction festival pre hours. You will receive a minimum 3 hours. The minimum value of each item is $50. To fulfill your requirement please donate two item with a minimum value of $50 each or one item with a minimum value of $100. This will satisfy your minimum 2 hour commitment. Your Class Experience minimum value is $25 and you will receive 1 hour.

Q. My items were given to me, I don’t have receipt for value?
A. Hours will be based on the Fair Market Value of the item (s)
Q. Can all pre/post hours can be satisfied with donations to silent auction?
A. No. You are still required to satisfy 5 pre/post festival hours.
Q. What if my donation value exceeds $100, or $25?
A. Hours that exceed the minimum requirements will count toward overall school hours. Additional hours are valued at 1 hour per $50.
Q. I have a student in 3rd and 5th grade. Am I required to provide two Class Experience donations?
A. Yes.

Raffle Tickets!
The Grand Raffle prize is $5,000 or 1 year free tuition for one SFDS student.The Bulldog Raffle prize is $1,000.
• Grand Raffle tickets: $50
• Bulldog Raffle tickets: $10
If you purchase 4 grand raffle tickets for $200 you will receive the 2 Bulldog Raffle tickets for free (that’s a $220 value). This is an opportunity to be entered in BOTH raffles and win a total of $6,000.
You can purchase tickets in any amount.
Extra raffle tickets are available at the school office and will be sold after the 10:00 Mass on Sundays.
The school family who raises the most money in raffle ticket sales will receive 1 ride wristband and 100 game tickets ($110 value) for their student and the second place prize winner will receive 50 game tickets ($25 value).
If the school families raise $25,000 in total raffle ticket sales, the whole school will be treated to a pizza party.
Ride Share Info
RIDESHARE: For those who don’t need your own vehicle while at the Festival, rideshare is a great solution. Uber or Lyft to the Festival! We have designated a convenient pickup/drop off spot on Dixie Canyon just north of the Festival entrance. There will be signs and a coned off lane so you know you’re in the right spot. When on your way TO the event, just make sure your driver drops you on Dixie Canyon, again, just north of the Festival entrance (which is where the K-2nd grade carline is). Upon LEAVING, we recommend that you walk to the area before calling your car or make sure to drop the pin on that location to avoid any confusion.
Relaxed Parking
RELAXED PARKING RESTRICTIONS: As in years past, all posted parking restrictions in the surrounding neighborhoods will be RELAXED during our Festival weekend. There will be no tickets issued during this time (unless you violate red/yellow curb painting and handicap parking rules). Streets with relaxed parking are all between and including Moorpark (North) and Valley Vista (South) and between and including Ventura Canyon (West) and Fulton (East).
