Applications for the 2027-2028 School Year are due on February 1st.

Please save the date for the prospective student test on February 19th. More information will come from the school office once your application has been submitted.

Admission Policy



St. Francis de Sales requires that kindergarten applicants be five years old on or before September 1st.



First consideration for admission is given to St. Francis de Sales parishioners. We accept those who share our philosophy to educate the heart as well as the mind in a values-based Catholic environment.



The basic purpose of St. Francis de Sales School is to ensure Catholic truths and values are fully integrated with the student’s life and academic program.



Students should not apply unless they desire and intend to participate fully in the religious programs of the school.



Admission to SFDS is based on the results of an entrance exam (grades 1-8) or readiness assessment interview (kindergarten), report cards and teacher recommendations.



The testing program is part of St. Francis de Sales school pre-registration process. It does not guarantee your child’s placement in the school. Please expect to hear from us regarding the results of this screening within a month of testing date.
